Randall Receives Award
There is always a teacher that stands out to students in the course of their education. This was evident recently when Dr. Pamela Randall, assistant professor and program director for Longwood University’s Elementary Education program at New College Institute was presented the Lula White Johnson Distinguished Teaching Award at NCI’s annual student recognition reception.
Jan Turner, a 2015 graduate and pre-school teacher said, “She understands the problems non-traditional students face and gave me the confidence to grow.”
“As a new graduate of Patrick Henry Community College, Dr. Randall guided me toward my decision to enroll in the elementary education program and stayed in touch through numerous meetings and text messages,” said junior, Willie Greene.
